6 Ways To Treat The Itchy Painful Shingles!

Shingles is a viral infection that causes a painful itchy rash. In spite of the fact that shingles can happen anywhere on your body, it frequently shows up as a single stripe of blisters that wraps around either the left or the right side of your torso.

6 Ways To Treat The Itchy Painful Shingles!

Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster infection — a similar infection that causes chickenpox. After you've had chickenpox, the infection lies dormant in nerve tissue close to your spinal line and mind. A long time later, the infection may reactivate as shingles.

Once you get the recommended treatment from your doctor, try some of these home solutions to relieve the itching and mend the blisters caused by shingles.

1.Use Calamine Lotion

To help dry the blisters, apply calamine cream as a treatment for the itching. As the wet solution evaporates from your skin, it even draws moisture from the blisters.

2.Apply Aloe Vera

If you have an Aloe Vera plant in your home or garden, cut a leaf and cover the fluid up your skin. The smooth, fluid within the leaves may help alleviate the blisters. Or, on the other hand, use an over-the-counter Aloe Vera gel (ensure it's 100% aloe).

3.Use Baking Powder

A paste of baking powder and water will dry up blisters and ease the itching. Add enough water to dry baking powder to make a paste, then apply it generously to the affected area.

4.Try Epsom Salt

Another solution for drying blisters and relieving irritation is a paste made by using Epsom salt and water. Apply directly to the infected area. Repeat frequently as you wish.

5.Mix Some Tea

Mix a tea of lemon balm – an herb from the mint family that European studies recommend fights herpes infections. To make it, boil 2 teaspoons dried herb in 1 glass boiling water. Use a cotton ball to pat it directly on the infected area. Also, one can use it with rose oil or mints, for example, peppermint, spearmint, and sage.

6.Depend on Every Day Cooking Ingredients

Go to your kitchen area, and pick honey and vinegar to create a solution for painful shingles. Mix them well and form a thick paste. Then, dab it on your Shingles as a natural treatment for shingles.
