The symptoms of bed bug bites don’t appear immediately after you have bitten by bedbugs. It takes few weeks for the symptoms to appear. Bed bugs can live without eating for several days so; they don’t come out to feed every single night. The bite of a bed bug is very itchy, you can feel burning sensations on the skin for many days after you have been bitten. Bed bugs don’t transmit disease when they bite. They cause skin infection around the skin because of excessive itching and scratching happens. If you are somehow allergic to bed bug bite, some dangerous symptoms may appear. This is when you may have to see a doctor.

You can kill bed bugs by steaming the area, since, bed bugs cannot survive in a stream. For this, you can use a handheld steamer. It is easy to use and you can blow stream anywhere easily with it.
Vacuum your room
The best things you can do when your bed in infested with bed bugs is clean it thoroughly. Vacuum every single area of your mattress. Not only this, clean chairs, sofas, curtains etc., in fact clean every corner where bed bugs can hide. Cover your mattress with an encasement so that bed bugs cannot hide inside them.

- Neem essential oil
It is best essential oil for treating bed bug bites. It is extracted from the bark, fruit, leaves, and seeds of a neem tree. The best thing about neem is, it is evergreen tree found easily in the Asian and African continents. You can apply this essential oil on the bites of bed bugs after taking shower. You can also put some neem leaves onto your bedframe.
It is also good for bed bug bite; tea tree oil is used for many skin problems to curb itching and sensitive skin healing. You can run its few drops on the affected area. You can also mix it with coconut oil for better and safer use.
- Patchouli oil
This oil has antiphlogistic properties, which helps in soothing the inflammation and speed up the healing process. You can rub 2-3 drops of patchouli oil on the affected area and massage anywhere you have bed bug bites.
