Like vinegar, oatmeal heals your baby’s soft skin and maintains the protective barrier of the skin. Its chemical compound saponin is useful to remove the unwanted oil and dirt from the skin pores. Just add one tbsp. of dried oatmeal to bath water and soak your baby’s bottom half for nearly 15 minutes. Pat dry with a clean towel. Repeat the process twice in a day for improving your baby’s diaper rash.

  • Vinegar:

You baby’s soft skin is irritated by stale urine which is alkaline in nature. Rinse your baby’s reusable diaper and cloth diapers with vinegar solution.

All you need to pour one half cup of vinegar in half filled bucket of water. Soak your baby diapers. Vinegar is effective as it will not remove the soap remains in the diapers but also get rid of any urine smell. You can also use vinegar to wipe your baby’s bottom while changing the diaper.
