DIY Homemade Lip Balm |Natural Remedies for Your Lips

Try these simple lip balm remedies and get those pinkish and cutest lips.

  1. Lavender Lip Balm

    Lavender is loved for its wonderful fragrance and natural girly feeling. It will just take you little time to convert lavender into a lip balm.


    • Almond oil: 4 tablespoons (olive oil or jojoba oil will also work)
    • Beeswax: 1 tablespoon
    • Honey: 1 teaspoon
    • Vitamin E oil: ¼ teaspoon
    • Essential lavender oil: 7 drops
    • Cocoa powder: 1 teaspoon

    How to make:

    Warm honey, beeswax and oils in a pot on normal heat and then mix them till they turn liquid except honey. Then add some ice water and stir the mixture while you add the honey. Then place the mixture in containers for about 3 hours till they become usable.

  2. Coconut Lip Balm

    The coconut lip balm another easy to do-it-yourself lip balms that you can try your hands at home.


    • Coconut
    • Vitamin E oil
    • Beeswax

    As such there is no fixed amount of each ingredient. The only thing you need to consider is to have a ratio of one-part beeswax with two parts coconut oil and a couple of vitamin E drops.

    How to make:

    Mix the ingredients after taking them in a ratio mentioned above, firstly adding the drops of vitamin E oil. Now take two teaspoons of coconut oil and add it to your cup. Now add one teaspoon of grated beeswax and stir the entire mixture thoroughly. Place it in the microwave for about thirty seconds and then stir the mixture and again place it. Continue to heat until your mixture completely melts. Store them in containers and use only after they are cooled.

  3. Pomegranate Lip Balm

    Pomegranate lip balm is probably the quickest one you can make at home. It will take just 20 minutes to make three to six tins of lush lip balm.


    • Beeswax: 2 tablespoons
    • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
    • Honey: 1 teaspoon
    • Coconut oil and pomegranate oil: 7 drops
    • Tubes or tins to store

    How to make:

    Place beeswax, olive oil and coconut oil in a pot and put it over the oven to melt it. Stir the ingredients properly and then mix pomegranate oil and honey to the mixture after you take the pot off of the oven. Mix the oil properly and then put the liquid balm into containers and then allow it to harden.

  4. Mint Chocolate Lip Gloss

    This sounds so delicious that you would just end eating this lip balm. This is more of a lip gloss than balm which would just take few minutes to make.


    • Cocoa butter: 1 teaspoon
    • Pure almond oil and coconut oil: 1 teaspoon
    • Pure vitamin E oil: 3 to 4 drops
    • Chocolate chips: 3 or 4
    • Pure peppermint extract: 1-2 drops

    How to make:

    Take one inch of water in a small-sized sauce pan and place it over the oven and heat it before it starts to boil. Then take all the ingredients and place them in a metal or glass bowl and place it over the saucepan without touching the hot water. Stir the ingredients for 5 minutes till they are completely melted. Now remove the mixture and pour them in small containers.
