How I Got Rid of Scabies at Home?

After months of suffering, confusion, irritation, and itching, finally I am free from scabies. It was a long struggle with the so called- scabies infestation. And I feel lucky enough to get rid of bot soon, as many cases I searched and studied were twice longer. Getting rid of these mites was certainly not an easy task, but what I felt is that right efforts made at right time can simplify things.

Simply, I researched as much as I could. In this way, I read all about different home remedies, medicines, solutions, and much more. Below are listed some of the effective solutions you can give a try;

Aloe Vera:

Having antimicrobial and several natural medicinal properties, it is widely used for many skin problems. And yes, same can help you in speeding up the treatment process of scabies. I tried applying at home through this remedy:

Process:

All you need is a fresh aloe vera leaf from an aloe vera plant. Basically, you need to extract the leaf to get its gel and apply the fresh aloe vera gel to the affected skin area. Remember, you need to leave for about 30 minutes. Later you can rinse it off with warm water. Repeat the process 2 or 3 times a day for a few weeks.

Margosa leaves:

It is popularly used for the treatment of numerous skin diseases including acne, eczema, and scabies. etc. While it provide relief from scratching and pain, which is a common symptom of this itchy disease, it is also great for getting rid of the mites completely. All due to its antifungal and antibacterial properties!

Process:

You need to take some fresh margosa leaves and grind them ideally to form a smooth paste with help of a blender. Now you can apply this paste directly to the affected skin area. Allow it to sit on your skin for a few hours and then rinse off with clean water.

White vinegar:

Being acidic in nature it can easily change the pH level of your skin. And it is believed that any change in your pH level can make mites die.

Process:

Firstly mix white vinegar and water in an equal ratio. You can pour the solution in a bowl and mix it well. Now with the help of a cotton ball apply it directly to the affected skin area. Let it dry for a few minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. Repeat the process 3 times a day for 10-15 days.

Neem leaves:

It is one of the most effective home remedies for scabies. The reason being they have antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help in reducing itching and remove the mites quickly.

Process:

All you need is 1 handful of fresh neem leaves. You need to prepare a fine paste out of this which can be done using a pestle and mortar or blender. Apply the paste directly to the affected skin area and let it dry naturally. Take a bath to rinse it off.

Lastly, these methods might take some time, but these are the safest, without any side effects. Hence, you can keep these bugs at bay in the most natural way. Isn’t that great!
