An abnormal change in the color and texture of your skin is a rash. It is caused by inflammation of your skin. There are several types of skin problems – wrath, ringworm, eczema, granuloma, which can cause (rash) itchy bumpy skin and there is no specific diagnosis for it. The above-mentioned skin problems mostly occur in adults. The worst thing about some skin problems is, they are painful and very itchy. However, you can apply over the counter creams on them, but before applying any medication, you should consult your doctor. Here are some common symptoms, which will help you to identify itchy bumps and other skin problems.

Atopic eczema

Eczema is the form of several skin condition in which skin becomes inflamed, dry and itchy. Atopic eczema is the common form of eczema. It is also known as dermatitis. It makes your skin itchy, red and cracked. It’s however a contagious skin condition that can improve over time.  Atopic eczema can affect any of your body parts, but usually affects knees, elbows area, around the neck, cheeks, scalp, and hands.

Cold sores

Cold sores are tiny blisters that can develop on the lips or around your mouth. These are caused by the herpes simplex virus. Cold sores start with a burning sensation or an itch around your mouth. After that, they become small fluid-filled sores. These sores usually occur on the edges of your lower lip. They clear up in few days without any treatment. There are several antiviral creams available on the market. These over the counter creams help ease your pain and asssist in the healing process.

Ringworm

It is a contagious fungal infection;generally, it occurs on the arms and legs of a person.  A red or silvery scaly rash in the shape of a ring can be identified as ringworm. You can treat ringworm with antifungal creams, powders or tablets, which are available over the counter from medical shop. Ringworm generally happens to children and people who are careless about their hygiene.

Psoriasis

The flaky red patches of skin covered with silvery scales are known as psoriasis. Psoriasis patches appear on the elbows, knees and the lower back of a person. They can either be itchy or sore, or could result in both conditions. People with a weak immune system can be affected badly by psoriasis. For others, it is just a skin irritation. It is a careless skin infection thatshould only go away with time. Some over the counter medication can be helpful for healing and skin improvement.

Wrath

Wrath is a common skin problem that is caused HPV (human papillomaviruses) viral infection. It is spreadable diseases that can be acquired from contaminated surface and spread from person to person. They can appear in any body part and should be identify as an infected skin problem.

Granuloma

It is a skin condition which appears as a small bumpy patch on person’s hands or feet. They look like the ring-shaped pattern on the skin that is mostly reddish in color. The reason of granuloma is still unknown. However, granuloma isn’t itchy and painful, so in most cases, there is no such treatment required for them. If the condition is getting worse, you can go to a doctor for its treatment.
