Those who have ever experienced scabies know very well how annoying this itchy skin condition is and it takes weeks to get rid of these itch mites. The Sarcoptes scabiei mite is not just extremely itchy but highly contagious as well.
If not treated on time, these mites can multiply and colonize to feed on your skin layers, leading to other secondary skin conditions that might even lead to death (however, this is in very rare cases). As it can easily spread to your family members and closest friends, it is essential that all are treated at once – as people in contact with the infested person are at potential risk of carrying scabies.
