Pimples are genuinely the skin issue from hellfire. They hurt when they are forming, and they look and feel disturbing once they are there. But that is not it. After that pimple is disappeared, it leaves you with a mark known as acne scar. The faded mark is absolute proof that you had a pimple, and it was terrible.
This article is based on what preventions you can take to avoid acne scars. Take a look…
The most effective method to Prevent Scars
- Stay out of the sun
Exposing scars to the sun can make them obscure and slow the healing procedure, but How?
Before heading outdoors, apply a thick layer of sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher. Wide range sunscreen protects against both bright A (long-wave) and bright B (shortwave) rays. Ingredients with broad-spectrum protection include benzophenones (sulisobenzone and oxybenzone), salicylates, titanium dioxide, cinnamates (octylmethyl cinnamate and cinoxate), zinc oxide, avobenzone, and ecamsule (Mexoryl SX).
If you are swimming, re-apply it after swimming, or it can be re-applied after sweating, or after over 2 hours in the sun. Restrict your time in the sun, i.e., between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wear defensive dress, for example, a long sleeve shirt/tops, or pants with a wide-brimmed hat.
- Don't pick and squeeze
Scars, which are made mostly of collagen, are your body's method for repairing itself. Skin break out scars are normally indented because of collagen loss from serious irritation.
Picking leads to more irritation and damage of your skin, which add to the staining and scarring. Crushing or trying to pop a pimple makes discharge and bacteria to filter deeper into the skin, bringing on more collagen damage.
- Try not to use vitamin E on scars
You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it recuperate faster. It is researched that by applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can really disturb its healing. Vitamin E either had no impact or make the situation worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin E on the skin developed a contact dermatitis.
Patience is the utmost thing needed!
If you are suffering from acne scars, no doubt treatment is required to get rid of acne scars. But, apart from that, the main key to seeing acne scars blur is tolerance. Half a month after you break out and scar, new blood vessels moves into the damaged area to offer nourishment to the skin, which is the reason most early scars look pink.
A few months later, collagen begins to form, filling in the injured section of skin. As cystic acne pulverizes skin and fat, it can take up to a year for the scars to blur.
